We need to be lucky in the managerial selection lottery regardless of who does the selection. How many did Raj go through pre and post Challinor?
One thing for sure is that Clayton and Liddle cannot hold the reins for very long based on what we did yesterday against a team who's own supporters expected us to batter them. October's fixtures could see us well and truly cast adrift in the relegation places.

Ive wrote off the fixtures at Forest Green and Borehamwood.
So Tamworth on Saturday is a must win game.

No way Lidds and the new Handshaker can be in control of this game.

And an important FA Cup game in October we're the prize money is excellent.
Maybe the difference to fund keeping us in division 5.

well it looks likely thats the only way we can increase the budget on players to improve the side. LS has either not the funds, refuse to use them or due to the latter dig his heals in saying you have had a good chunk of it so get on with it. lets be honest did we moan about any of the new signings when they were made. NO it was play off and promotion talk because of them.

Yes Bromby will have had a good chunk but is Smith prepared to give them another chunk, if he does he is very naive throwing good money after bad. Maybe time to cut his losses and look for a new team to run Pools and avoid relegation.

trouble with him is he will have to get someone to explain to him what relegation actually would mean. its something foreign in yankie sports where it does not exist.
