That lad is the real deal.

Anthony Mancini, on the other hand was a very short lived flash in the pan. Hasn't got a club and that's probably him done as a professional footballer. We'll never know whether he really was injury prone or his problems were in his own head. Shame.

mancini and his like really annoy me. all that talent wasted that many young trier would love to have. his first was obviously genuine when he went off at chesterfield but some of the others were in his head. remember one of his last ones when he went off followed by buster who tapped his head. could have meant anything but it did make me wonder if it was mancini related.

Agree about Mancini all that talent wasted either down to bag luck with injuries or his mental attitude. his first game at Southend he was unbelievable a master class in midfield. Re was voted man of the match by the home supporters and was given a standing ovation when he went off near the end. After the Chesterfield game injury nothing even when he recovered.

He took off like a rocket but flew like a brick.
Nothing worse than rich promise that is never milked but splutters and fades.
It’s the frustration of promise that misfires and ultimately fades.
