On You Tube I have seen the highlights from Carlisle v Worthing, Boreham Wood v Tamworth, Harrogate V Solihull Moors and Fylde v (cant remember) all DAZN games but no sign of the Pools highlights. Anyone got any info on this? Over the last few seasons, highlights of the Pools Saturday game was always on You Tube by mid Sunday evening, sometimes earlier but for some reason not today. Has there been a change of policy?

its a cunning plan by not showing them so people will get nosy and come to the vic to see what all the fuss is about.

I got a WhatsApp video of the 1st goal but haven't seen the 2ng goal again.

Would be appreciated if some techno poster could put a link on here.

Which is alright if you live near the town. I would be there if I could but the 270 mile journey is a bit much these days.

Yep highlights posted by Barrow FC. Surely if Pools want to build fan momentum they would be keen to upload highlights as soon as legally possible. I note the commentators were from local radio so somehow Barrow (the away side) got the rights to this and posted them before the home team. Wondering if Pools are going to bother uploading highlights now Barrow have beaten them to it. Anyway just a small moan, overall I am delighted with Pools over the close season onwards.

its a legitimate moan though. its 2026 not 1956 and fans expect and want things like highlights and news regularly. its not as if we would be unique doing all that but would be if we didn,t. even poor games and bad news are better advertising for the club than nothing.

No idea what you mean, yes I criticised Pools for not having one and just confirming they still haven’t filled the position, what’s your issue with posting that, I think you have lost the plot PTID.

Have a look at the Danny O'Connor thread to jog your memory Jamie - you questioned why we need a Head of Media, and you described it as a non-job paid for by fans, you questioned what they would do as it would only be a couple of interviews a week.
So a few weeks ago you said we absolutely didn't need a media man, now we haven't got one you're questioning why we haven't filled the position.
Not for the first time you start arguing a point only to end up arguing against that very same point.

Totally agree. As an exile (same as you) I think communication through a decent media man is a must for us and we are only 100 miles away not thousands.
The current site is an embarrassment in anyone's language and needs sorting PDQ.

yanks seem keen and good at these sort of things. just wonder if LS thinks its a norm for communications to be like what they are. something you,d have expected from the singh regime.

Pools appointed Urban Zoo the other week to deal with all digital and media stuff. I'm assuming it's in the process of being set up.

Everything takes time.
Main focus is getting the team promotion ASAP.

I'm sure the website then ground expansion are on the to do list.

I can't remember a game as one sided since the top year junior school team I was in played the local secondary modern. The only mercy is there's no sound. The Pools lads look completely destroyed long before the final whistle.

Noticed York City have announced a new website designed by Urban Zoo, had a quick look and it looks good to me. Hopefully ours gets sorted soon and is of similar standard.
