I'd go with that line up too, but I think if Benn has shaken off his knock he will start. Got a feeling Gibson won't make it, and Kuougon will start, which I'm good with, I'm a big fan of Max.

Prefer Kougon to Gibson. Popov worth another go, particularly away with the emphasis on the home side to score. As for the result, not a Scooby but fingers crossed. As I said earlier, Aldershot is this team's first tricky away fixture so we will learn a lot from it. Even if we lose, it wont be the end of the world but hoping for the best.

Kuogun for Gibson the only change to the starting 11, pleased Kuogun is in and would have been happier still with Ecclestone in for Benn.

Had a bumpy spell for 10 mins late in 2nd half, cudnt keep possession. Merrick was very good, Eccleston let the guy get away and then fouled him. 6 points no conceded but will have to do better against better sides in trying to keep the ball.

They looked mfortable enough and Aldershot weren’t a bad side…only in front of goal.
Can we make an offer for the keeper to also include a platinum card for Verralls and use of the VIP queue…that’ll swing it…

I'd start him ahead of Benn. Stupid of him to give away such a soft (but definite) penalty, I'm sure he'll learn and the coaches will be on it still early in his career.

yes, he needs to learn how to be a shithouse to get away with things and not send the ref a telegram on what he is going to do next when an opponent gets dead lucky. doubt there will be a similar situation coming up like that again this season. love to see it again when aldershot put the highlights up.
