Reading this thread it’s clear, Pools lose because of Featherstone but win despite him :-)

Saturday was a shining example of the great tacticians problem, when he threw everyone available on the pitch which caused mayhem for those last fifteen minutes of chaos.
We have a ratio of one entertaining match accompanied by three ‘fire in the hold’ farces.

I think there's some truth in the fact that we win some matches despite Fev - look at Saturday when we won despite the most ridiculous substitutions and tactics for the last 20 odd minutes. Mobile and involved players like Miley and Caron substituted by Walker and Oliver, two players who are so static they were almost rooted by the end of the game.

Caton and Reid did not play as a front 2 last week, they were far too far apart with Caton being out wide for much of the match that I watched.

Radio Tees said the Morecambe formation was
4
2
3
1 or 4 5 1
Anyhow lets get these 3 pts at Wealdstone then get tore into Scunthorpes shitty defence whatever the formation.

I only ever see it as …

10.

The only result that matters from Pools' point of view is Halifax got beat at home by Scunny. We're now 2 points behind them with 2 games in hand

I think that rules out Halifax's play off chances now. Its between us and Southend for that 7th spot for me.

Who knows? People were saying our season was over when they beat us at the Vic. We should all know by now football doesn't work like that - it's the next result that matters, not the last.

Wealdstone won their Trophy semi-final so there is every chance their players will have an eye on a Wembley final and will not want to get injured on Tuesday. Pools should get stuck in and win all 50-50 challenges. A fourth win on the bounce is not out of the question.

Id say we got a better team than Wealdstone.
The tactics need to be spot on.
Attack from the off.

Has to be a win then anutha 5.
Im expecting a non win at Borehamwood.

On the transfer situation looks like upgrades will be for next season which seems a bit unambitious imo.

we cannot afford to drop any points in this game. If we do we,ll be gettng into a miracle territory especially if southend get all the points as well.

Think we're in miracle territory already, we've blown it with our piss poor home performances and defensive tactics.
It's Southend's to lose at the moment and I can't honestly see us winning more than another 10 points or so.

We truly are on one step at a time territory…if we pull this off I’ll start believing in miracles….but it truly is time to let rip and do a Charge of a Light Brigade assault on the playoffs.

After the goal saving header at Morecambe I am allowing myself to believe (a bit).

That clearance certainly kept hopes alive. I'd certainly like us to sign Cam permanently, he's been one of our better performers all season and clearly is enjoying his football.
