which of our players are still under contract for next season. hopefully those who are out of contract will not be offered a new one.

Think we need better than John & Sinclair, To be taken seriously.

We have players with obvious talent, but some are not consistent enough as we’ve witnessed.
We need characters on the pitch, with a consistent output on the field …I prefer a reliable plodder to a fluctuating display.

Agree we need consistently good players who can hack it for the majority of the season.
IE: DCs recruitment. Weren't naturally brilliant but he knew how to get a tune out of them.

The secret to any good team is consistency, there’s plenty of talented hot and cold ‘stars’ who go off like a cheap firework, but success is built on consistency, not on/off stop/go entertainers that make picking a team a stroll through a managers minefield.

But what I don't like is when some of our fans say if they were consistent then they wudent be at Pools.

I'm sure at least 3 of them teams above us have squads which are of the same standard as ours.

I think it's more of a mental thing in the Pools camp because it's happening to often these unpredictable performances.

is the reason why we have inconsistant players is a good number might still be playing in the efl if they were consistant. nobody will convince me other teams have similar players to us especially when you see the results of games.

That would be my list too. Daly might come into the reckoning if the form he's found recently continues till the end of the season.

Knowing Pools as it was when they were signed, most of them will be free agents come June while Walker and Johnson are on 2-year contracts

I would get rid of all ones feasible not on contracts, the current squad is very inconsistent, one game they play like play off candidates the next game like relegation candidates, bring a new manager allow him to bring his own players in.

Some of our fans are arse holes Kev. , that sort of attitude is the mindset of a loser and miserable pessimist, y’know the sort, always there, but with a masochistic delight in failure….a sort of ‘told you so ‘ delight when things go wrong.
Probably spend non match days in the cemetery reading headstones.
