Given that 16 million plus have left Venezuela since the emergence of the shower running the country, tells you all you need to know.
Jamie, uncouple your common sense from your political dogma.
The present oil production is running at a low rate in Venezuela…..oddly enough overseen by Chinese and Russian technicians according to reports.
The person who won the election last year, won the Nobel Peace Prize…but was ignored by the Man Trump took for a ‘visit’ to the States.

Whats my political dogma got to do with it Snowy, I have no idea about history of the political situation in Venezuela.

I'm surprised you don't know about the China and Russia link ,jamie..It's common knowledge over here in the UK.

I do follow the news Sussex, the Chinese and the Russians are involved in the oil and gas industry in Venezuela.
Thailand is awash with Russians and Chinese more so the Chinese who are involved in a many construction projects not the belt and roads one though. A Chinese company were part of the construction team of the 33 storey building which collapsed after the Myanmar earthquake killing 95 people, the cause was put down to sub standard rebar supplied by China. There was allegedly corruption involved during the project which is very common here, ironically the building was for the State Audit Office.

. Trump is accusing Venezuela of supplying drugs to the States, what about Columbia and Mexico, are they going to take over them ?I.

Are you being serious?....or just clueless about how it all works in countries in South America ..

Certainly not clueless, I have read many books about drug cartels, fiction but with an element of truth in them.
Whats Trumps excuse for annexing Greenland, part of NATO, will they defend Greenland against Trump.

It's Jamie's way say anything that's negative about Starmer and his government, or say anything that can be construed as positive about Trump and he shoots off at a tangent with his whataboutery.
Starmer must have been gifted Kevlar y-fronts for all his fence sitting. He's at it again about Venezuela, talks himself up as the big international I Am when the reality is he's always like the 1st day apprentice office boy - afraid to offend anyone and not having a clue what he's meant to be doing, him and Reeves must be vying for best tea maker in parliament.

Jamie's support for a bunch of losers has been unwavering throughout 2025...We all make mistakes!!

The U.K. supported a bunch of losers for 14 years.

They were both losers, it’s just that Labour are more efficient at fucking up more quickly and in a much shorter time than other Party’s are at fucking up.

So you base your views on ‘fiction’…that explains a lot……in other words, imaginary scenarios…..it’s all making sense now….do you get your political views off ‘Carry on Starmer’ films….?

Jamie stop digging FFS!!
As soon as you said you only read fiction your shaky credibility collapsed totally. Then to confirm my point about your "whataboutery" you reply to the bunch of losers comment with a reference to the previous government rather than trying to defend the indefensible.
Stick to your fairytales mate.

But the electorate let the Tories do it for 14 years, up until now what have Labour f**cked up more than the Tories, at least they didn’t crash the Stock Markets forcing the Bank of England having to bail us out, the FTSE 100 has just reached its highest level ever over 10000 points and the FTSE 250 is not far behind both made up UK of companies so some one must have faith in the economy.

Jamie, we had 14 years of Torys because Labour weren't a credible alternative, you do remember Corbyn don't you?
Now regarding the stock markets, there's stability mainly due to global influences, it's certainly not credit to Starmer and Reeves. And wrt the UK economy, which is heading towards recession according to many experts, the stock markets is not an indicator of confidence in the UK. Businesses are failing at alarming rates, zero investment is coming in and that's down to high taxes, labour, and energy costs, all of which are the result of 2 horrific budgets by Reeves.
You're the one that said yourself you only read fiction, you must know the Labour Manifesto by heart then!!
And btw when I'm wrong I'll put my hands up and admit it.

That’s what the ‘electorate’ are allowed to do, it’s their choice…. it’s how democracy works …Doh.
You may find democracy tiresome …. but elections with only your one candidate, never work out well..…oh dear.
