Best perfomance so far this season and a lot of positives

Cartwright 7 Very good again

Mcnally 8 - Excellent shift and a goal !
John 8 - Who do York have to bin him off--caught once in possession but very good
Kouagan 8 --Really solid up against a good forward--booked

Benn N/A -- looked good before injury , hope it's not serious but any replacement will be a big downgrade
Topalji 8 - MOM---gave every player he came up against fuck all, good turn of pace and looks good going fwd--massive upgrade on Ferguson

Francis 7 --prob more of a 6 but gets an extra point for the shift he put in out of position
Sheron 8 - Did what he does very well--and the assist was the icing on the cake
Miley- 6 Put a shift in but really we need some mobile cover so he doesn't run himself into the ground
Daly 6 - V rusty to begin with but showed some decent touches...not mobile enough to be a like for like for Francis

Reid 7 - Brilliant Finish
Johnson- 5 Did nothing again and rightly subbed

Overall a lot to be happy about--concern again is our bench needs strengthening...Grayson only trusted Walker and Charman for last 5 minutes or so--shudder to think what it will be like monday v Southend
Brilliant start but 2 more players with legs in midfield and up front and we will have a genuinely serious squad.

Harvey Saunders not getting a game at Tranmere ATM, might be worth a punt on loan.

The assist was Miley’s, not Sheron and I would have had them both with the same score.

Really I thought it was Sheron, fair play if it was Miley great play either way

i,ll not comment on johnson until he scores a goal and see how his play is after it. like keepers and their clean sheets attackers live off goal scoring and can look different players after they get one.

Neither Johnson nor Reid looked good last night (aside from the goal) but I though Saturday they were both very good, excellent touch to bring others in to play, and both good at holding the ball up. Early days yet to rate them, but it's refreshing anyway to see a real strike pairing rather than watching Mani graft away on his own with his back to goal.

last night was a typical reid performance. he is capable of scoring and doing the spectacular and if he could combine the rest of his play with that he would be playing league football.
